Starter King is a family owned, local business that was created to solve a problem. Two problems actually. The first was that our premium, high quality food grade wax paper was not recyclable. The second was that existing products in the fire starting world smelled, didn’t light quick and left oily residue on your hands and surfaces.
You see, the exact reason our high end wax paper was not recyclable is actually what makes our starter the best fire starter out there: premium low oil content wax that’s resistant to water and burns extremely hot!
The end result of years of hard work is the King of Starters. What used to be considered waste is now highly desired. Our solution to saving thousands of pounds from a landfill just so happens to be the best fire starter we’ve ever used, and we think you’ll feel the same!
